Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)Job Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides high-quality patient care under the supervision of registered nurses (RNs) and physicians. The LPN is responsible for assisting in patient assessments, administering medications, maintaining medical records, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for patients.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and procedures.Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments.Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.Assist in patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility as required.Support RNs and doctors in examinations and medical procedures.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.Respond promptly to emergency situations and follow proper procedures.Provide emotional support and patient education when needed.Skills & Qualifications:Valid LPN License (active and in good standing).Proven experience as an LPN or similar nursing role.Strong clinical, observational, and communication skills.Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care, and healthcare regulations.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Compassionate and patient-centered approach.Education & Certification:Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing Program.Active State License as a Licensed Practical Nurse.BLS/CPR Certification preferred.
